Dr. Jesse Terrell is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of cataracts and glaucoma. He completed his undergraduate and medical education through the accelerated seven-year Medical Honors Program at the University of Florida, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha for academic excellence.
He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine Cullen Eye Institute. This was followed by completing a fellowship in glaucoma at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, which is consistently ranked the #1 Eye Hospital in the United States. While there, he gained advanced expertise in complex cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), multiple laser procedures, tube shunts, and trabeculectomies.
Dr. Terrell is also an active researcher, with multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading ophthalmology journals. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Terrell enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, fishing, and traveling.
