Dr. Jesse Terrell received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society — a distinction reserved for the top medical students in the country. Following medical school, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, one of the top ten ophthalmology programs in the nation.
He then completed a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the nation’s top-ranked ophthalmology program, where he gained advanced expertise in complex cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), tube shunts, and trabeculectomies.
Dr. Terrell is also an active researcher, with multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading ophthalmology journals. He has volunteered his surgical skills internationally, performing cataract and glaucoma surgeries at a Christian eye center in Ghana for patients with limited access to medical care. He brings this same dedication and precision to every patient he treats at Ullman Eye Consultants.
